＜Responsibility＞
- Ensure SMBC’s sound market profile and distribution network in bond market, especially with Credit bonds.
- Work with DCM and bond investment team to generate fee or income profit via promotion of bond and other related products that SMBC Group engages to.
- Evaluate and manage bond MTM (not only credit bonds but also ABS/RMBS) under IVBD’s book
- Make effective credit bond distribution strategy and liaise with DCM/Debt Syndicate teams inside and outside of SMBC China (Group companies).
- Conduct the monitoring activities regarding the rules and regulations in relation to SMBC’s bond business
- Improve and develop extensive network with institution investors such Banks, AM, Lifers and Trust companies as Credit bond investor
- Conduct comprehensive market analysis on a regular basis and ensure an internal report and information sharing in a timely manner.
- Initiate an effective team-building and provide constructive ideas to department management.

＜Requirements＞
- Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance or related field; MBA/CFA qualification preferred
- Working knowledge of TRS or securities lending (including GMSLA negotiation) as a sales professional
- 3-7 years of solid experience with bond products at financial institutions in Hong Kong, mainland China or other major international markets
- Prior experience in bond sales outside Mainland China will be an advantage
- Excellent presentation and interpersonal communication skills
- Highly self-motivated, responsible and results-driven professional
- Ability to work effectively under pressure, both independently and as part of a team
- Full professional proficiency in both English and Chinese (written and spoken)
