Your Role
- We are looking for a passionate and committed IoT Engineer to join our CT-IS APAC team in China.
- You will be part of our newly formed Smart Factory team, shaping and supporting our Industry 4.0 path (digital twin, IoT, AI, data projects, 5G) in our factories;
- You are interested in IoT, will be involved in IoT activities as an IoT expert to support both local and global initiatives
- You will be working closely with the business process team of each entity, IT project leaders, business project leaders, business key users, IT teams, and suppliers
- For some projects, you will act as project leader
- To collaborate with your colleagues to share your expertise
- You speak fluently English as working language

To succeed, you will need
Education
- You have degree in IT/computer science/Engineering or equivalent experience in IoT engineering, information systems, or related fields
- You have very strong analytical skills
- Project management, and IT technical certifications or equivalent are an asset
- IoT communication platforms and mechanisms (MQTT/OPC UA,…)
- Timeseries data and options on how to collect, store and use it.
- Azure cloud (AZ900 certification is a plus)
- Understanding essentials of security
- Storage technology, databases SQL RESTful APIs
Knowledge (Optional)
- AI, edge devices, Azure ML
- .NET programming
- Experience in project management is an asset
Connection between IT platforms (MES/ERP/MOM, etc. )
Experience
- The successful candidate has preferably 0-5 years of experience in different domains of IT/IS
- Demonstrated knowledge of technical solutions design is a must
knowledge of major data management concepts and integration techniques is a must
